Patmos doesn' t have an airport but there are several hydrofoil services that connect the island during the day with the islands of Samos, Rhodes and Kos. All three have international airports.
Patmos is also served by three major ferry companies from the port of Piraeus which is a 30 minute drive from Athens International airport.
There is a ship leaving Piraeus every day at 3:00 p.m. and arriving in Patmos in the evening. It is a scenic and comfortable journey, especially if you get a cabin.
There is a super-fast ferry service twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday and it takes only 6 hours.
